N19 Surrey Central Station/Downtown NightBus is a NightBus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This is an overnight bus route providing service 7 days a week in lieu of regular Expo Line, 19 Metrotown Station/Stanley Park, 106 New Westminster Station/Edmonds Station, and 119 Metrotown Station/Edmonds Station services, in addition to various Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey bus services. Service runs every 30 minutes in each direction, with 8 trips eastbound and 3 trips westbound. There are additional trips in each direction after the end of the service day substituting for early morning SkyTrain service on weekends/holidays. Additional westbound trips on weekdays in lieu of early morning SkyTrain service start at New Westminster Station with select eastbound trips short-turning at New Westminster Station.
The route leaves Howe at Dunsmuir to take Howe, West Georgia eastbound, Seymour northbound and Pender Street eastbound to get to Main Street. However, due to extensive water main work along Pender street, the route is detoured off Pender to Hastings Street between Seymour and Main streets. From Main the route heads south onto Kingsway through Vancouver and Burnaby to turn onto Edmonds Street and south on 6th Street. It performs a loop with 6th Street, Columbia Street and 8th Street to enter New Westminster Station, where some trips terminate. Most other trips leave the station by 8th Street, Royal Avenue and on-ramp to access the King George Boulevard and the Pattullo Bridge. The route continues east along King George using Scott Road to access Scott Road Station and leaving the station by on-ramp access back onto King George followed by 104th Avenue and finally City Parkway to Surrey Central Station.
Westbound trips to Downtown leave Surrey Central Station by University Drive and 104th Avenue to King George Boulevard. It exits Pattullo Bridge by looping along the off-ramp, McBride Boulevard to Columbia Street and then 8th Street to New Westminster SkyTrain Station. Leaving New Westminster Station, westbound trips take 8th Street, Royal to get onto 6th Street. Trips arriving in Downtown use West Pender to arrive on Howe Street.
