This was a north-south circular route connecting New Westminster Station and the Fraserview area in the eastern part of New Westminster. Service ran daily every hour, increasing to every 30 minutes during peak hours.
Trips departed New Westminster Station heading north on McNeely Street, east on Carnarvon Street, north on Sixth Street, east on Agnes Street, north on First Street, east on Royal Avenue, north on McBride Boulevard, and east on Eighth Avenue to McBride Boulevard & Eighth Avenue, where it continued heading east on Eighth Avenue, south on Cumberland Street, south on Richmond Street, west on Columbia Street, north on McBride Boulevard, west on Royal Avenue, south on Sixth Street, west on Columbia Street, and north on McNeely Street to New Westminster Station.
September 1982 - Service extended to Annacis Island, providing direct bus service to/from Annacis for the first time. Service ran as portions of the 95 Queensborough and 99 Second Street. AM 95 service ran to Annacis Island before routing through the Queensborough and Hamilton area, returning as a 99. PM 95 service ran through Queensborough and Hamilton first before returning via Annacis Island as a 99[1]
October 1984 - Route renumbered and rebranded from 95 Queensboro and 99 Second Street to 102 Lougheed Mall/Annacis Island/Queensboro[2]
January 1986 - Service rerouted to serve New Westminster Station[3]
April 1987 - Service revised to run as 102 Cumberland/New Westminster Station and operated as a circular service within New Westminster[5]
Early-1990s - Service renamed from 102 Cumberland to 102 Fraserview
September 1996 - OrionII models introduced to route under BC Transit's short-lived CUB (CommUnity Bus) program[6]
April 1999 - OrionII buses withdrawn and accessible service discontinued[7]
October 2001 - All midday service reduced to run every hour on weekdays and Saturdays due to funding shortfall[8][9]
July 2002 - Outbound routing towards Fraserview leaving from New Westminster Station revised to route via Carnarvon, 6th, Agnes, 1st, Royal, McBride instead of Columbia Street and McBride Boulevard[10]
September 2002 - Routing revised between New Westminster Station and Columbia & McBride to replace portions of the 106 and to service St. Mary's Hospital. Introduction of service along:
Carnarvon Street between 8 Street and 6 Street
Agnes Street between Elliott Street and 1 Street
1 Street between Agnes Street and Royal Avenue
Discontinuation of service on 8 Street between Carnarvon Street and Columbia Street and on Columbia Street between 8 Street and McBride Boulevard, both replaced by a reroute of the 112
September 2003 - Service discontinued as part of Community Shuttle service rollout in New Westminster and replaced by portions of the C3 Quayside/Fraserview.[11]
