Richmond–Brighouse is a SkyTrain station in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Located at No. 3 Road between Saba and Cook roads, Richmond–Brighouse provides access to the numerous surrounding high density residential developments and nearby shopping centres such as Richmond Centre. The station is also within walking distance to Richmond City Hall and Richmond Hospital. Prior to the station opening, bus services terminated at the same location and was known as Richmond Centre shortly after the introduction of the the 98 B-Line, and Richmond Exchange prior to the turn of the century. Richmond–Brighouse Station is one of the last places to have 98 B-Line bus stop shelters.
Bus services are on No. 3 Road, Saba Road, and the Bus Mall. There were plans to incorporate a bus loop directly east of the station or to have an elevated bus loop above No. 3 Road and the Richmond Centre parking lot. However, the elevated bus loop scheme has since been abandoned.
Construction of the Bus Mall began in fall 2019 and was scheduled to be complete in spring 2020. It is located between No. 3 Road and Buswell Street, in between the Mandarin Residences building and The Paramount. Small portions of the new Bus Mall was already been completed prior to the announcement, such as pavement work and a left turn bay and intersection that was built when the Canada Line station opened in 2009, which served as a pedestrian crossing across No. 3 Road.
Plans included enhanced lighting, large bus shelters, and accommodation for five bus routes with five layover spaces, two loading, and two unloading bays. Work was completed in the summer of 2020 with opening scheduled for September, but construction activity on adjacent work sites resulted in disruptions that overflowed into the Bus Mall, pushing the opening to October 2020.
On October 19, 2020, the Bus Mall was partially opened for use due to adjacent construction work. On November 9, 2020, the Bus Mall was fully opened.
Bays 1, 2, and 7 are located inside the Bus Mall, Bay 6 on Saba Road, and all other bays are on No. 3 Road.
