Route Details
This is an east-west route running in New Westminster connecting Braid Station and 22nd Street Station running primarily on Sixth Avenue and via the Royal Columbian Hospital. Service runs daily every 20 minutes during the day on weekdays and every 30 minutes in the evening and all-day weekends/holidays. Late-night service daily runs every hour.
Eastbound trips depart 22nd Street Station heading east on 7th Avenue, south on 20th Street, east on Sixth Avenue, south on Cumberland Street, north on Richmond Street, east on Hospital Street, north on Columbia Street, east on Braid Street, and north on Rosseau Street to Braid Station.
Westbound trips depart Braid Station heading west on Rosseau Street, west on Braid Street, south on Columbia Street, west on Hospital Street, south on Richmond Street, west on Cumberland Street, west on Sixth Avenue becoming 22nd Street, and east on 7th Avenue to 22nd Street Station.

History
- October 1973 - Service introduced as 182 Como Lake running between Lougheed Mall and the Coquitlam Sports & Community Centre terminus at Poirier & Foster[1]
- April 1976 - Evening routing at the Coquitlam Sports and Recreation Complex revised to go via the daytime routing taking Poirier, Foster, Schoolhouse, Winslow, Poirier to Coquitlam Sports Centre[2]
- August 1978 - Service renumbered to 155 Como Lake from 182 Como Lake and replaced portions of the 183 Marmont and 933 Lougheed. Route extended to Downtown Vancouver during peak hours[3]
- March 1986 - Western terminus moved to 22nd Street Station and rerouted via Braid, Columbia, Hospital, Richmond, Cumberland and 6th Avenue[4]
- Formerly route 155 Coquitlam Rec Centre/22nd Street Station[5]
- September 1988 - Portion between Coquitlam Rec Centre and Lougheed Station discontinued in favour of the new 156 Coquitlam Rec Centre/Lougheed Mall service, eastbound service re-routed via Brunette, Lebleu, Alderson and Marmount to Coquitlam Rec Centre[6]
- October 1990 - Accessible service introduced[7]
- July 1992 - Service revised to stop on Winslow Avenue instead of inside the Coquitlam Rec Centre loop resulting in minor routing change[8]
- September 1992 - Westbound trips rerouted to provide two-way service on Alderson and LeBleu in Coquitlam[9]
- April 1995 - Early morning trips revised to start at Coquitlam Rec Centre instead of Woolridge & Brunette[10]
- October 2001 - Late evening service discontinued due to low ridership and funding shortfall[11][12]
- January 2002 - Service improved with the opening of the Millennium Line and revised to go via Braid Station[13]
- September 2002 - Eastern terminus revised to Braid Station; service between Braid Station and Coquitlam Rec Centre discontinued[14][15]
- April 2009 - Late night service extended to 12:30 AM everyday[16]
- April 2011 - Late-night service reduced from every 30 minutes to every hour due to low ridership[17]
- September 2016 - Route operations moved from Port Coquitlam Transit Centre to Hamilton Transit Centre as part of a mass re-organization involving the closure of North Vancouver Transit Centre and the transfer of all its operations to Burnaby Transit Centre
- January 2018 - AM westbound school tripper operated by Port Coquitlam Transit Centre with Orion V buses discontinued
- April 2024 - Operations transferred from Hamilton Transit Centre to Port Coquitlam Transit Centre in response to depot space constraints
- April 29, 2024 - Introduction of extra late-night trips daily operated with Community Shuttles from Hamilton to reduce the headway from every hour to every 30 minutes for the remainder of the sheet to accommodate shift changes at the Royal Columbian Hospital as the change of operations from Hamilton to Port Coquitlam resulted in minor changes to departure times
- One westbound trip on weekdays leaving Braid Station at 11:10 p.m.
- One roundtrip on weekends/holidays, leaving 22nd Street Station at 10:40 p.m. and leaving 22nd Street at 11:10 p.m.
- June 2024 - Nighttime Community Shuttle trips introduced in April 2024 to accommodate shift changes at the Royal Columbian Hospital extended to operate until September 2024. Departure times to be adjusted and trips to be operated by Port Coquitlam with conventional buses starting in September. Trips adjusted to run once westbound only leaving Braid Station at 11:05 p.m.
- September 2024 - Community Shuttle late-night trip discontinued following the adjustment of bus timetables as part of the sheet change. Late-night frequency returned to hourly service but departure times were realigned to accommodate for shift changes at the Royal Columbian Hospital
