371 Surrey Central Station/Scott Road Station is a Community Shuttle route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
This is a north-south route connecting Surrey Central Station and Scott Road Station via Bridgeview and Bolivar Heights. Service runs daily every 30 minutes, increasing to every 20–30 minutes during peak hours, during daytime hours on Saturdays, and in the early afternoon on Sundays/holidays. At all other times, service runs every hour.
Northbound trips depart from Surrey Central Station heading north on University Drive, east on 108 Avenue, north on Whalley Boulevard, east on Grosvenor Road, north on Hilton Road becoming 136 Street, west on 112 Avenue, north on 133A Street, west on 114 Avenue, north on 132 Street, west on 115 Avenue, south on Bridgeview Drive, north on 128 Street, west on 114 Avenue, south on 124 Street, west on 112 Avenue, looping underneath the Pattullo Bridge becoming 111A Avenue, south on 124 Street, and east on Scott Road to Scott Road Station.
Southbound trips depart from Scott Road Station heading west on Scott Road, north on 124 Street, west on 111A Avenue looping underneath the Pattullo Bridge becoming 112 Avenue heading east, north on 124 Street, east on 114 Avenue, south on 128 Street, east on Bridgeview Drive, east on 115 Avenue, south on 132 Street, east on 114 Avenue, south on 133A Street, east on 112 Avenue, south on 136 Street becoming Hilton Road, west on Grosvenor Road, south on Whalley Boulevard, west on 108 Avenue, and south on University Drive to Surrey Central Station.
An additional late evening trip is provided in each direction on Friday nights only.
September 2004 - Service introduced as C71 Surrey Central Station/Scott Road Station, replacing portions of the 317 Guildford/Scott Road Station[1]
September 2005 - Route became bike rack equipped
September 2007 - Permanent re-route in Bridgeview neighbourhood due to the construction of the South Fraser Perimeter Road.[2] Service discontinued on 116th Avenue and on 110th Avenue between Scott Road and 128th Street and on 128th Street between 110th Avenue and Bridgeview Drive. Service in both directions revised to go via 110th Avenue, 124th Street, 111th Street, 112th Avenue, 124th Street, 114th Avenue, Bridgeview Drive, and 115th Avenue
September 2008 - Routing near Surrey Central Station revised; southbound routing revised to take 134A Street instead of 135th Street[3]
April 2018 - Community Shuttle branding dissolved: service renumbered to 371 with no changes in routing or frequency[4]
January 2023 - Introduction of a southbound trip running on weekday mornings when school is in session to address overcrowding using conventional buses
April 2023 - Saturday daytime and Sunday/holiday early afternoon service increased from every hour to every 30 minutes
September 2023 - Various weekday service increases
Towards Surrey Central: from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes from 6–8 a.m. and from every hour to every 30 minutes from 2–3 p.m.
September 2024 - Weekday midday service increased from every hour to every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on evening northbound service, resulting in a consistent 30-minute service on weekdays
