This is an east-west route connecting Carvolth Exchange in Langley and 22nd Street Station in New Westminster running primarily along 88 Avenue. Service runs on weekdays only during peak hours every 30 minutes.
Eastbound trips depart 22nd Street Station heading east on 7th Avenue, south on 20th Street, west on Stewardson Way looping onto Highway 91A and across the Queensborough Bridge, then the Howes Street exit and merging back onto Highway 91A and onto Highway 91, taking the Cliveden Avenue exit to Annacis Island. Continuing from the Cliveden Interchange, trips merge back onto Highway 91 and across the Alex Fraser Bridge, then taking the Nordel Way exit heading east on Nordel and becoming 88 Avenue, north on 168 Street, east on 96 Avenue becoming Golden Ears Way, east on 96 Avenue Connector becoming 96 Avenue, south on 200 Street, east on 91A Avenue, and south on 202 Street to Carvolth Exchange.
Westbound trips depart Carvolth Exchange heading north on 202 Street, west on 91A Avenue, north on 220 Street, west on 96 Avenue becoming 96 Avenue Connector, west on Golden Ears Way becoming 96 Avenue, south on 168 Street, west on 88 Avenue becoming Nordel Way, north on Highway 91 crossing the Alex Fraser Bridge and then taking the Cliveden Avenue exit to Annacis Island. Continuing from Cliveden Interchange, trips merge back onto Highway 91 to Highway 91A and then take the Howes Street exit. Returning onto Highway 91A, trips cross the Queensborough Bridge and take the 23rd Street exit and then east on 7th Avenue to 22nd Street Station.
A School Special trip in the afternoon when school is in session serves Holy Cross Regional Secondary School and departs from 160 Street & 88 Avenue and heads west to Nordel Way & Brooke Road.
December 2008 - Service introduced as 388 22nd Street Station/Walnut Grove to provide transit service on 88th Avenue and to connect Walnut Grove with Port Kells, Queensborough, and Annacis Island[1]
January 2009 - Route revised to temporarily service Scott Road Station with the Pattullo Bridge temporarily closed due to a fire[2]
September 2011 - All trips revised to operate with Community Shuttles[3]
May 2017 - Off-peak and weekend service proposed[5]
December 2018 - All trips revised to operate with conventional buses to reduce overcrowding and pass-ups.[6] This marked the end of what was at the time the longest Community Shuttle route in the system
