C20 Marine Drive/UBC Exchange was a Community Shuttle route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Route Details

This was a north-south circular route combined with the C18 running within the University of British Columbia. This route was the clockwise portion of the circular service. Service ran daily every 30 minutes, increasing to every 15 minutes during the afternoon peak on Fridays.

Trips departed UBC Exchange heading east on Student Union Boulevard, south on Wesbrook Mall, west on Ross Rive becoming East Mall, west on Thunderbird Boulevard, south on West Mall to the scheduled stop at West Mall and Hawthorn Lane. Continuing down West Mall, the route headed west on Stadium Road, north on NW Marine Drive, east on Agronomy Road, north on Lower Mall, east on Memorial Road, north on West Mall, east on NW Marine Drive becoming Chancellor Boulevard, south on Wesbrook Mall, and west on Student Union Boulevard to UBC Exchange.

History

• September 2006 - Service introduced as C20 Marine Drive/UBC Loop, running every 30 minutes daily and introducing all-day service to the Totem Park residence area. Service replaced the evening 41 Joyce Station/UBC via Totem Park trips
• January 25–March 28, 2010 - Vancouver 2010 Olympic service: Service rerouted via University Boulevard and East Mall to Thunderbird Boulevard
• December 2013 - Routing revised and extended from West Mall & Marine Drive to include coverage of South Campus residential/commercial area south of West 16 Avenue
• September 2015 - PM peak hour service frequency increased to every 15 minutes
• April 2016 - Routing revised to travel on Lower Mall instead of Marine Drive between Agronomy Road and Memorial Road
• September 2016 - Route operations moved to Hamilton Transit Centre as part of a mass re-organization involving the closure of Oakridge Transit Centre. PM peak hour service revised to run every 15 minutes on Fridays only
• September 2017 - Service renamed to C20 Marine Drive/UBC Exchange
• April 2018 - Service discontinued to simplify UBC Community Shuttle service. Northern portion replaced by the 68 UBC Exchange/Lower Mall and southern portion by the 70 UBC Exchange/Wesbrook Mall
