This was an east-west route running in White Rock and Surrey, connecting White Rock Centre and Ocean Park running primarily on Marine Drive. Service ran daily every hour.
Eastbound trips departed 128 Street & 16 Avenue heading south on 128 Street, east on Marine Drive, north on Stayte Road, west on Russell Avenue, and north on Johnston Road becoming 152 Street to White Rock Centre.
Westbound trips departed White Rock Centre heading south on 152 Street becoming Johnston Road, east on Russell Avenue, south on Stayte Road, west on Marine Drive, and north on 128 Street to 128 Street & 16 Avenue.
Select westbound evening weekday, early morning, late afternoon and evening Saturday and all Sunday/holiday trips went via an alternate routing in Ocean Park. These trips went via regular route until Marine Drive & 130 Street, where trips went north on 130 Street, west on 16 Avenue, and south on 128 Street to 128 Street & 16 Avenue.
September 1975 - Service introduced as 353 Marine Drive, connecting the White Rock terminus and Ocean Park[1]
November 1986 - Service proposed to be extended from White Rock Centre to 22nd Street Station in June 1987 and running throughout the day to provide a regular transit connecting between White Rock and New Westminster[2]
June 1987 - Service revised to operate as 353 Ocean Park/22nd Street Station as service is extended north from White Rock Centre to 22nd Street Station. Routing near White Rock Centre revised to go via Russell, George, North Bluff, 152nd, then to King George, Highways 99 and 91 and the Alex Fraser Bridge to 22nd Street Station. Service increased to run every 20 minutes during peak hours and every hour during off-peak hours. Evening service and all Sunday/holiday trips continued to run between Ocean Park and White Rock Centre[3]
October 1987 - Ocean Park routing revised to go via 130th Street, 16th Avenue, 128th Street to the revised Ocean Park terminus at 128th & 16th. Trips continued to service Ocean Park Drive & 25th Avenue as a midday extension[4]
November 1990 - Northbound routing to 22nd Street Station revised to go via Russell, Best and North Bluff to White Rock Centre to improve operating conditions[6]
April 1996 - Westbound daytime Monday–Saturday trips revised to operate via 128 Street between Marine Drive and 16 Avenue while evening and all Sunday/holiday westbound trips continued to operate on 130 Street[7]
September 1996 - OrionII models introduced to the route under BC Transit's short-lived CUB (CommUnity Bus) program[8]
September 1997 - Peak hour extension to 22nd Street Station discontinued and replaced by the 394 White Rock Centre/King George Station. Service ran in tandem with the 394 until Thanksgiving to allow passengers to be accustomed to the service change[9]
September 2002 - Service discontinued, with portions replaced by the C50 Ocean Park/White Rock Centre during the Community Shuttle service rollout in White Rock/South Surrey[10][11]
