745 Haney Place/Cottonwood is a Community Shuttle route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This is an east-west circular route combined with the 746 running in Maple Ridge. This route is the northern half of the circular service. Service runs daily every hour on weekdays, increasing to every 30 minutes during peak hours. During the morning peak hour, service is further increased to every 5–25 minutes in the Cottonwood direction and during the afternoon peak hour, service is further increased to every 3–25 minutes. On weekends/holidays, service runs during the daytime only every hour on weekends.
Eastbound depart Haney Place heading south on 226 Street, east on Lougheed Highway, east on 116 Avenue, north on 232 Street, east on Dewdney Trunk Road, south on 238B Street becoming Creekside Street, west on 116 Avenue becoming 236 Street and Gilker Hill Road, east on Kanaka Way, south on 240 Street, east on 104 Avenue, and south on Jackson Road to Jackson Road & 103 Avenue, where it continues as a 746 Haney Place.
Westbound trips come off of a 746 Albion and depart from Jackson Road & 103 Avenue heading north on Jackson Road, west on 104 Avenue, north on 240 Street, west on Kanaka Way, north on Gilker Hill Road becoming 236 Street and 116 Avenue heading east, north on Creekside Street becoming 236B Street, west on Dewdney Trunk Road, south on 232 Street, west on 116 Avenue, west on Lougheed Highway, and north on 226 Street to Haney Place.
One weekday afternoon Cottonwood trip goes via Port Haney Station from Haney Place via Edge Street, Dewdney Trunk Road, 222 Street, Haney Bypass, Callaghan Avenue, 223 Street, River Road to Port Haney Station, then Haney Bypass, 225 Street, 116 Avenue then regular route to Cottonwood.
When school is in session, one trip towards Haney Place in the afternoon starts from Thomas Haney School at 116 Avenue & 231B Street with no changes in routing. An additional trip with a conventional bus also starts from here with no changes in routing. Together, there are three consecutive departures from Thomas Haney School, starting with the conventional trip, followed by the Community Shuttle trip and one more Community Shuttle trip that originated from Haney Place.

History
- September 2004 - Service introduced as C45 Haney Place/Cottonwood, a clockwise circular service combined with the C46 Haney Place/Albion, replacing portions of the 722 Whonnock/Haney Place
- September 2005 - Route became bike rack equipped
- April 2006 - Service revised to go via Port Haney Station during peak hours instead of during AM peak hours only[1]
- December 2007 - Introduction of double-header trips during AM peak hours running from 105 Avenue & Tamarack Lane to Port Haney Station
- April 2008 - Service on Sundays and holidays introduced running every two hours[2]
- April 2017 - Introduction of one PM peak trip via alternate routing to service Port Haney Station
- June 2018 - Community Shuttle branding dissolved: Service renumbered from C45 to 745 and service restructured. The northeastern portion of the route was replaced by the 745 Haney Place/Cottonwood and the southwestern portion of the route was replaced by the 746 Haney Place/Albion;[3] peak hour service via Port Haney Station revised to run in the afternoon only
- January 2023 - Saturday service increased from every two hours to every hour. Weekday service towards Cottonwood between 2 and 4 p.m. increased from every hour to every 30 minutes
- September 2023 - Introduction of a school trip using a conventional bus starting from Thomas Haney School towards Haney Place to create a triple-header to address extreme overcrowding
- October 3, 2023 - Conventional school trip starting from Thomas Haney School discontinued due to operational issues
- January 2024 - Reintroduction of a conventional school trip starting from Thomas Haney School
- September 2024 - Sunday/holiday service increased from every two hours to every hour
