This was an east-west route connecting Coquitlam Station and Braid Station in New Westminster via Planet Ice and the United Boulevard area. Service ran daily every 30 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays and every hour on Sundays/holidays.
Eastbound trips departed Braid Station heading south on access road, west on Braid Street, north on Brunette Street, east on Lougheed Highway, south on Woolridge Street, south on King Edward Avenue, east on United Boulevard, south on Brigantine Drive, east on Hartley Avenue, north on Schooner Street, east on United Boulevard, west on Shuswap Avenue, south on N. Bend Street, west on Canoe Avenue, north on Golden Drive, north on United Boulevard, east on Cape Horn Avenue becoming Holly Drive, east on Orchid Drive, north on Lougheed Highway, west on Dewdney Trunk Road, north on Mariner Way, east on Barnet Highway, and south on Lougheed Highway to Coquitlam Station.
During peak hours, select trips ran as 177 Planet Ice. Morning trips terminated at Golden Drive & N. Bend Street and afternoon trips terminated at Shuswap Avenue & United Boulevard.
Westbound trips departed from Coquitlam Station heading south on Lougheed Highway, west on Holly Drive becoming Cape Horn Avenue, south on United Boulevard, west on Shuswap Avenue, south on N. Bend Street, west on Canoe Avenue, north on Golden Drive, south on United Boulevard, south on Schooner Street, west on Hartley Avenue, north on Brigantine Drive, west on United Boulevard, north on King Edward Avenue, west on Lougheed Highway, and south on Brunette Avenue to Braid Station.
During peak hours, select trips started from Planet Ice. Morning trips started from Golden Drive & N. Bend Street and afternoon trips started from Shuswap Avenue & United Boulevard.
December 2007 - Routing revised to go via Riverview Hospital instead of Lougheed Highway, replacing the C35[2]
September 2009 - Sunday and holiday service adjusted to allow for passengers of the last trip to be able to transfer to SkyTrain service[3]
June 20–November 7, 2011 - Service along United Boulevard temporarily discontinued due to the closure and reconstruction of the King Edward Avenue overpass. Service between Planet Ice and Brigantine Drive & Hartley Drive replaced by the 197 Planet Ice/Brigantine shuttle[4][5][6][7]
September 2013 - Service discontinued due to low ridership following the closure of Riverview Hospital[8]
