Route Details
This is a north-south route running in Surrey connecting Newton Exchange and Surrey Central Station running primarily on 132 Street. Service runs daily every 30 minutes on weekdays, increasing to every 15 minutes during peak hours. Weekend/holiday service runs every 20–30 minutes.
Northbound trips depart Newton Exchange heading east on 72 Avenue, south on 138 Street becoming 68 Avenue, north on 132 Street, east on 104 Avenue, and south on City Parkway to Surrey Central Station.
Southbound trips depart Surrey Central Station heading north on University Drive, west on 104 Avenue, south on 132 Street, east on 68 Avenue becoming 138 Street, and west on 72 Avenue to Newton Exchange.

History
- October 1975 - Service introduced as 324 132nd Street, providing local service between Whalley Exchange and Newton Exchange. Select trips ran to South Newton displaying "To Panorama Ridge–56th Avenue"[1]
- July 1976 - Panorama Ridge service discontinued and replaced by the 322 Panorama Ridge
- August 1978 - Terminus extended east from Whalley Exchange to Guildford Exchange and peak hour service to Downtown Vancouver introduced[2]
- September 1982 - Downtown terminus moved to Melville Street east of Thurlow[3]
- January 1986 - Scottsdale Mall terminus revised to 70th Avenue between Scott Road and Nicholson Road instead of on Nicholson Road between 72nd and 70th avenues[4]
- November 1986 - Service revised to operate between Whalley Exchange and Scottsdale Mall, with peak hour express service extending to New Westminster Station.[5] Service between Whalley Exchange and Guildford Exchange and peak hour extension to Vancouver discontinued
- March 1990 - Express peak hour service between Whalley Exchange and Scott Road Station introduced and service rerouted from Newton Exchange to King George Highway; service between Newton Exchange and Scottsdale Mall replaced by the 340[6]
- March 1994 - AM peak hour service revised to go via Surrey Central Station following the completion of the SkyTrain extension to King George[7]
- April 1994 - Service revised to operate as 324 Newton Exchange/Surrey Central Station as the terminus is moved from Scott Road Station to Surrey Central Station
- October 2001 - Service after 10:00 PM is cancelled due to low ridership and funding shortfall. Routing revised to travel along 68th Avenue between 138th Street and King George Highway for better service to Newton Exchange[8][9]
- April 2003 - Route became bike rack equipped[10]
- September 2008 - Weekend and holiday service improved to 30-minute frequencies while Monday to Friday service is improved to 30 minutes from 6AM to 9PM in conjunction with routes 323 and 325[11]
- April 2021 - Saturday northbound early morning and southbound evening service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
- April 2022 - Service renamed from 324 Newton Exchange/Surrey Central Station to 324 132 Street
- June 2022 - First northbound trip on Saturdays revised to start 10 minutes earlier at 5:35 a.m.
- January 2023 - PM peak hour service increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes
- April 2023 - Various service increases
- First weekday northbound trip advanced to start 15 minutes earlier
- Northbound AM peak hour service increased from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes
- Evening weekday southbound service increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes
- Sunday/holiday evening service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
- April 2024 - Evening weekday service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
- September 2024 - Weekday midday service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes. Saturday late afternoon and evening service increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes and Sunday/holiday afternoon service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
- January 2025 - Service extended from approximately 2200 until midnight daily, running every hour
- April 2025 - Sunday/holiday evening southbound service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
