This was a north-south route connecting Lougheed Station and Port Moody City Hall via College Park. Service ran daily every 30 minutes.
Northbound trips departed Lougheed Station heading east on Gatineau Place, north on North Road becoming Clarke Road, north on Glenayre Drive, east on Harvard Drive, north on Princeton Avenue, east on Washington Drive, south on College Park Way, east on Cecile Drive merging onto Clarke Road and becoming St. Johns Street. During peak hours, trips went north on Williams Street to Port Moody Station, then south on Williams Street. Then all trips head east on St. Johns Street, north on Ioco Road, east on Guildford Way, west on Ungless Way, and south on Ioco Road to Ioco Road & Newport Drive.
Southbound trips departed from Ioco Road & Newport Drive heading south on Ioco Road and west on St. Johns Street. During peak hours, trips went north on Williams Street to Port Moody Station, then south on Williams Street. Then all trips head west on St. Johns Street becoming Clarke Road, west on Cecile Drive, north on College Park Way, east on Washington Drive, south on Princeton Avenue, west on Harvard Drive, south on Glenayre Drive, south on Clarke Road becoming North Road, west on Gatineau Place to Lougheed Station.
September 1999 - Service revised to connect with all West Coast Express trains and routing revised to go via Princeton Street and Washington Street in the College Park area to replace portions of the 147. Trips towards Ioco revised to be routed into Lougheed Mall[7]
January 2002 - Routing in both directions revised to service Braid Station daily in the evenings only following the completion of Braid Station. Operations ran as a combined service with the 147:
Service between Lougheed Mall and New Westminster Station via Braid Station operated every 30 minutes with a combined northbound 148 Braid Station to 147 Coquitlam Station or 147 Coquitlam Town Centre and southbound 147 Braid Station to 148 New Westminster Station through service
Evening service beyond Lougheed Mall to Ioco every hour, with hourly service between New Westminster Station and Lougheed Mall daily after midnight
September 2002 - Service between Lougheed Town Centre Station and New Westminster Station discontinued following the opening of the Millennium Line and replaced by an extension of the 112 and revised to run as 148 Ioco/Lougheed Station[8]
September 2003 - Service between Ioco and Port Moody Station replaced by the C25 Port Moody Station/Ioco. Seasonal service to White Pine Beach revised to run as C25 White Pine Beach/Coquitlam Station Portion between Port Moody Station and Belcarra and Anmore replaced by C26 Port Moody Station/Belcarra. Service shortened to Port Moody Inlet Centre and revised to run as 148 Port Moody Inlet Centre/Lougheed Station
