147 Metrotown Station/Edmonds Station is a Community Shuttle route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
This is an east-west route running in Burnaby connecting Metrotown Station and Edmonds Station, running primarily along Rumble Street and Clinton Street. Service runs daily every 20–30 minutes, increasing to every 15 minutes during peak hours.
Eastbound trips depart Metrotown Station heading west on Central Boulevard, south on Willingdon Avenue becoming Patterson Avenue, east on Rumble Street, south on Royal Oak Avenue, east on Clinton Street, north on Gilley Avenue, east on Rumble Street, south on Griffiths Drive, west on 18th Avenue to Edmonds Station.
Westbound trips depart Edmonds Station heading east on 18th Avenue, north on Griffiths Drive, west on Rumble Street, south on Gilley Avenue, west on Clinton Street, north on Royal Oak Avenue, west on Rumble Street, north on Patterson Avenue becoming Willingdon Avenue, and west on Central Boulevard to Metrotown Station.
September 2018 - Community Shuttle branding dissolved: route renumbered from C7 to 147 with no changes in routing or frequency[1]
December 2019 - Metrotown terminus moved from Beresford & Sussex to inside the bus loop due to water main work and multiple highrise construction. Routing in both directions revised to go via Patterson Street, Willingdon Avenue, and Central Boulevard. Service on Beresford Street, Telford Avenue, and Maywood Street discontinued. Regular service was expected to be reinstated in May 2020 but remains to be based out of the main Metrotown bus exchange
April 2023 - Various daily service increases
Weekday evening service from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
Saturday midday to evening service from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
Sunday/holiday late-afternoon to evening service from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
September 2024 - Sunday/holiday mid-afternoon service increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes
April 2025 - Introduction of an additional eastbound departure on weekday mornings when school is in session to address overcrowding
