189 Coquitlam Station/Coast Meridian was a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Route Details

This was an east-west circular express route connecting Coquitlam Station and northern Port Coquitlam, running primarily on Coast Meridian Road. Service ran during peak hours only every 30 minutes.

Trips departed Coquitlam Station heading west on access road, north on Mariner Way, east on Barnet Highway becoming Lougheed Highway, north on Coast Meridian Road, and west on Prairie Avenue to Prairie & Sefton Street. Continuing From Prarie & Sefton, trips continued west on Prairie, south on Shaughnessy Street, and west on Lougheed Highway to Coquitlam Station.

The first AM trip started at Prairie & Sefton.

• April 2005 - Service introduced to to supplement Community Shuttle services and improve connections with the West Coast Express between Coquitlam Station and the Coast Meridian–Praire area of Port Coquitlam
• December 2009 - First AM trip revised to start at Coast Meridian & Lougheed instead of Coast Meridian & Riverwood
• December 2013 - Service discontinued due to low ridership, with portions replaced by the 188 Poco Station/Coquitlam Station
