Hi there, future tip for your wiki edits: Can you please use the preview option before submitting your edits? That way when I click on recent changes to see any recent edits I won't see it flooded with your Translink stuff.

Also unless you know you only want to edit a section, please refrain from section editing and edit the whole page instead. You can always ctrl+f or command+f to find the section you want to edit.

Thank you. vb5215 20:10, 27 September 2014 (UTC)

Naming Conventions

FYI - photos should follow Photo Naming conventions (ie Coast Mountain Bus Company 3350-a.jpg instead of P3350.jpg)

8010's destination sign

Yes, 8010 does have a Balios destination sign, but it wasn't retrofitted as the result of its 2001 collision (contrary to popular belief). The bus was actually delivered with the sign according to TRAMS' Evan M. Russell.

He said this in the TRAMS Facebook group:

"Yes. 8010 was a test coach for the Balios sign and was the only one in that series to be delivered with such a sign. It was favourably received and subsequent orders were delivered with the same technology. As far as I remember it received its BC Transit 99 B Line livery early in 1999 when it received a bike rack. Later it was painted into the early version of TL Sweep. I welcome corrections if I'm wrong in the livery. But I know it came stock with that sign. "
