143 Burquitlam Station/SFU is a bus route operated by Coast Mountain Bus Company in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Route Details
This is an east-west route that connects Burquitlam Station to Simon Fraser University. The route does not run on weekends. The first trip westbound departs Burquitlam Station at 6:00 AM; the last trip eastbound departs SFU at approximately 10:00 PM.
The route departs Burquitlam Station - Bay 4 to Clarke Road and then Como Lake Avenue westbound. It continues from Como Lake to Broadway where Como meets North Road and then Gaglardi Way up Burnaby Mountain. It leaves Gaglardi onto University Drive East and takes East Campus Road to terminate at SFU Exchange.
Eastbound trips depart SFU Exchange via University High Street to Tower Road, South Campus Road, Gaglardi Way northbound, University Drive West back onto Gaglardi to get down Burnaby Mountain.

- December 1993 - Left turn lane into Coquitlam Centre Exchange eliminated forcing service reroute by Lougheed Highway to Barnet Highway, Mariner and then Access Road[2]
- April 1997 - Service revised to no longer detour to Port Moody Station[3]
- November 1999 - Bike rack equipped and wheelchair accessible service introduced[4]
- October 2001 - Weekday service after 6:00 PM discontinued due to funding shortfall[5]
- November 2003 - Service with New Flyer Industries D60LF articulated buses made permanent[6]
- September 2008 - Service improved to 12 minute frequency during peak periods; service day increased for last trip to depart SFU at 10:00 PM[7]
- September 2009 - Peak period and direction service improved to 10 minutes[8]
- December 2016 - Eastern terminus moved to Burquitlam Station due to the opening of the Evergreen Line on December 2nd, 2016. Overall frequency increased to 10-15 minutes[9]
Vehicles
- The route runs out of Port Coquitlam Transit Centre. Buses normally servicing the route include New Flyer Industries D60LF , New Flyer Industries C40LFR , and New Flyer Industries XN40 models.
