Route Details
This is an east-west inter-regional route running between Central Surrey and Walnut Grove in the Township of Langley. It is a peak period only express route with service in the peak direction, Monday to Friday. Service is available with 20 minute frequencies from approximately 5:30AM to 7:30AM towards Surrey Central and from 3:30PM until 6:00PM towards Walnut Grove.
Eastbound trips depart Surrey Central Station onto University Drive to take 104th Avenue eastbound followed by Highway 1. The route exits Highway 1 onto 202nd Street southbound to Carvolth Exchange. Continuing from Carvolth Exchange, the route heads northbound on 202nd Street to take 88th Avenue, 204th Street, 96th Avenue eastbound onto 213th Street, 92nd Avenue, 212th Street and then Walnut Grove Drive to 88th Avenue. The routes make a loop from 88th onto 216th Street, Telegraph Trail, 86A Crescent and then 212th Street back onto 88th Avenue and its terminus on 88th at 212th.
Westbound trips to Surrey Central depart 88th Avenue at 212th making a loop by 88th onto 216th, Telegraph Trail, 86A Crescent and then 212th before heading onto Walnut Grove Drive. Trips enter Surrey Central by exiting 104th Avenue onto City Parkway.

- September 1990 - Route introduced as 509 Walnut Grove/Scott Road Station, with two AM and two PM trips. [1]
- June 2004 - Routing revised to run along 91A Avenue with construction forcing the closure of park and ride on 88th at 202nd Street[2]
- December 2012 - Route re-routed to Carvolth Exchange for connections to recenty implemented 555 Express. [3]
- September 1, 2014 - Stop introduced at Highway 1 offramp (HOV) at 156 Street for connections to the 555. [4]
