Route Details
This route provides local service from Richmond city centre to Riverport Recreation Complex via Steveston along No. 4 Road. It provides feeder service to the Canada Line.
The route departs Richmond–Brighouse Station via Saba Road, Buswell and then Cook Road to head southbound along No. 3 Road. It turns onto Granville Avenue eastbound from No. 3, takes No. 4 south to Steveston Highway to its terminus at the Riverport Recreation Complex. Some early morning or late evening trips terminate at Steveston Highway at No. 5 Road or Steveston Highway at Seaward Gate (Richmond Transit Centre).

- Originally operated from Ladner Exchange to Vancouver International Airport Domestic Terminal[1]
- December 1991 - Accessible service introduced on select trips[2]
- October 2001 - Shortened to Airport Station. Portion between Airport Station and Airport Terminal replaced by the 424 Airport Station/Airport[3]
- Formerly route 404 Airport/Ladner Exchange extended to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal from April to Labour Day
- September 2004 - Shortened to Richmond Centre (Formerly Richmond Exchange) all days with the section between Airport Station and Richmond Centre replaced by the 301 Airport Station/Newton Exchange
- Summer 2009 - Ex-CNG New Flyer Industries C40LF buses service the route
- September 2009 - Day service increased and routing modified to bring it closer to Richmond–Brighouse Station
- October 2009 - Bus bays at Richmond–Brighouse Station reorganized; stop relocated from Bay 4[4]
- December 2010 - Peak hour service reduced to every 20 minutes
- December 2014 - Service to Ladner Exchange cancelled and re-routed to Riverport Entertainment Complex [5]
