Port Credit GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Mississauga, ON. It is located west of Hurontario St., north of Queen St.
The station building is located at the end of Helene St., north of Queen St. An underground walkway connects the station building to the station platforms, one of which is on the south side of the tracks, and the other is located between the northern and middle tracks. The bus platforms are west of the station building, while the Passenger Pick-up/Drop-off and southern parking lot is east. The northern parking lot is connected to the underground walkway, and extends east and north to Hurontario and Oriole. A smaller western parking lot connects to the far west end of the platforms, exiting onto Stavebank Rd.
History
Port Credit opened with the Lakeshore West line in May 1967. It was originally in the village of Port Credit, which was amalgamated into the City of Mississauga in 1974. It has seen rail service since 1855.
Port Credit was made a stop for the Niagara Falls Excursion Train in 2009, serving the City of Mississauga.
