The west lot is on the west side of the tracks, and extends the entire length of the station south from Wellington. Another lot on the east side is accessible from Industrial Pkwy., and the parking garage is east of Ross St. Tickets are sold in the station building during AM rush hours, while a Ticket Vending Machine is available at all times.
History
The station itself was originally built in 1900 by the Grand Trunk Railway, and kept in its original state through renovations by GO Transit after they assumed full control over the station.
Increasing demand through the development of Aurora put strain on the station, with the west parking lot built in 2008, demand for parking was still high. While a relief station in south-west Aurora was considered, it has never been built. Work started on a parking garage in Summer 2009 northeast of the station, which was completed in early 2010. It is the first GO Station in York Region to have a parking garage built.
A new off-street bus loop opened in Fall 2012; it replaced a portion of the parking lot.
