Dixie GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located east of Dixie Road between Dundas Street and The Queensway.
The main platform is on the north side of the tracks, extending east of Dixie Road. The station building is located roughly in the middle of the platform, and the bus loop is immediately north of the building. The parking lot extends west of the bus loop, and north to the station access roadway.
Dixie GO is the only GO station outside of Toronto that does not have any GO bus service.
History
Dixie GO Station opened to GO service on October 28, 1981, along with the start of service on the Milton line. Minor upgrades to the station have occurred, including the expansion of parking, the addition of an mini-platform for wheelchair accessibility, and the extension of the platform to facilitate longer trains (the most recent expansion, to 12 cars, happened in 2008, as the overcrowded Milton line was first to run 12-car trains).
On April 8, 2023, GO bus service to Dixie GO was discontinued due to route restructuring on route 21.
