Route 43 operates between Renforth Transitway Station and Meadowvale Town Centre Bus Terminal.

The route primarily serves Matheson Boulevard, Kitimat Road, and Argentia Road. Service is provided in the northbound direction in the AM rush hour and southbound in the PM rush hour, interlining with route 87.

Timeline

July 2, 2012 - Route 43 'Matheson-Argentia' is introduced as part of service changes in which routes 27 and 89 are cancelled and service is consolidated around Skymark Hub. Routing follows previous route 27 routing between Skymark Hub and Britannia Road and Mississauga Road, then travels along Mississauga Road, Kitmat Road, Argentia Road, and Winston Churchill Boulevard to Meadowvale Town Centre. Service operates during weekday rush hours with 20 minutes frequency and is interlined with route 87.

July 3, 2017 - Route revised to extend west on Matheson Boulevard and Terry Fox Way, no longer using McLaughlin Road.

November 22, 2017 - Route now serves the new Renforth Transitway Station on Commerce Boulevard (no change to routing).

July 1, 2024 - As part of a MiWay initiative to simplify the route naming convention, the route is renamed 'Matheson' from 'Matheson-Argentia'.
