Whitby GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. It is located south of Highway 401 between Brock Street and Henry Street.
The station platforms are located in between the GO tracks. There are sets of stairs leading to underground walkways on either side of the accessible ramp, with both walkways leading to the station building on the north side of the tracks. The bus loop is located northeast of the station building, the Passenger Pick-up/Drop-off to the north, and a small parking lot to the northwest. A smaller secondary lot is on the west side of Brock. The western walkway also leads south underneath the CN tracks to a series of larger parking lots as well as the parking garage.
History
A four-storey parking structure was opened on February 16, 2010, allowing for more parking spaces at the station. On March 16, 2010, construction began on a pedestrian bridge connecting the rail platform to the southeast parking lot. It was completed in February 2011 and had elevators installed in April 2011. Work later began on rehabilitating the north parking lot which was completed late December 2010.
