Agincourt GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located on the north side of Sheppard Avenue east of Kennedy Road.
The station platform is on the west side of the tracks, with the station building in the middle and the parking lot stretching the length of the platform. Tickets are available from the station building during AM rush hours, or from the Ticket Vending Machine during other times.
History
Agincourt was one of the original stops on the Stouffville GO line, and has remained in its location ever since. Small property acquisitions have enabled small expansions to the parking lot since, but the station has changed little over time.
A grade separation project began in Spring 2011 between the Stouffville line and Sheppard Avenue, immediately south of the station. The main purpose was to allow the Sheppard East LRT to pass under the tracks, although it would also be preferable to have an underpass once full-day train service starts on the Stouffville line. Because of the location of the construction, the tracks jog east of the normal alignment and approach the station platform on a sharp angle. The platform was extended north and the accessible ramp relocated. Once construction finishes, the ramp will be relocated, but the additional length will remain as it will extend the platform to the now-standard 12 car length.
Connecting routes
There are no bus facilities on the station premises. All local transit serve the station from the street.
