Renforth Station is a station on the Mississauga Transitway in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Details
General
Renforth Station is located at 5001 Commerce Boulevard, just north of Eglinton Avenue West. This station opened on November 22, 2017 and was the final station on the Mississauga Transitway to be completed. The station is below grade, situated between Commerce Boulevard and Renforth Drive. No parking or kiss-and-ride facilities are available. Public washrooms are available, as well as vending machines. A provision for retail space was included in the design of the station, but has not been leased as of 2021.
As the station has been identified as a mobility hub by Metrolinx, several MiWay and TTC routes connect to the station. A dedicated bus layover area is located to the east of the station platforms, and turnaround loops for buses are located at either ends of the station. A bus layover area with shelters for connecting routes is also located on Commerce Boulevard directly north of the entrance.
MiWay routes 24, 43, 57, 74 and 87 connect directly to the station, as do TTC routes 32 and 112. MiWay route 35 connect to the station via on street stops on Eglinton Avenue West.
Preparations for Renforth Station to serve as a major hub began well before the station opened in 2017. MiWay began establishing what would be known as Skymark Hub (on Skymark Avenue near the station) with the introduction of route 109 in 2008 and route 107 in 2010; both routes stopped on Skymark Avenue. Further routing changes occurred in 2011 and 2012 and Skymark Hub was officially established in July 2012. Additional routing changes would occur through 2012 and 2013, establishing routes connecting to the hub. When Renforth Station opened in November 2017, routes that were established at Skymark Hub were moved to serve the new station.

MiWay routes 7, 39, 100, 107 and 109, as well as GO Transit routes 19, 29 and 40 serve the station on the Transitway.
MiWay route 35 connects to the station via stops on Eglinton Avenue East.
