MiWay 1031-1045 are Orion 07.501 VII EPA 2010 hybrid buses built in 2010. Delivery was to commence in August 2010, the first bus arrived in late July. Each unit of this 15 unit order costs $717,525.13. These buses are the first production EPA 2010-model buses produced for a client.
These buses feature a new livery consisting of an orange front portion that curves up from the front wheels to the roof above the high floor section. The upper module of the rear is also in orange. mi WAY logos are placed under the first window of the high floor section and on the front. There is a mi local logo above the first window, indication the bus runs on local routes.
Inside, there is seating for 33 passengers. All seats are of the 4ONE Mariella model, except for the rear five seats which are of the 4ONE Aries model. After the wheel wells, there are two wheelchair spaces (taking up three perimeter seats per side) followed by forward facing seats to the steps at the rear in a 2+1 configuration. There are three rows of seats on the high floor section that are in a 2+2 configuration and a fourth row at the very back with 5 seats. Seats are trimmed in Holdsworth Fabrics grey-base Wiggles & Rings moquette. Flooring is in black RCA rubber.
A folding wheelchair ramp is located at the front door of the bus. Rear doors are passenger operated utilizing Vapor's vTouch system. All Windows are of the tip-in transom design manufactured by Hehr. This appears to be the final order of Orion VII buses with Herh windows, with Orion moving towards Arow Global products. Heating, ventilation, and cooling are provided by a roof-mounted Thermo King Athenia unit.
