History
- October 28, 1935 - The Lake Shore streetcar route (Not to be confused with the present day 508 Lake shore) is split, and the Long Branch route was created to provide service between Long Branch Loop and Roncesvalles Carhouse.[1]
- 1958 - The Long Branch route service is cut back to operate between Long Branch and Humber Loop once the Queensway streetcar right-of-way opened for revenue service.[2]
- January 1, 1973 - Suburban customers are now able to seamlessly transfer between the Long Branch and Queen streetcar routes at Humber Loop without paying an extra fare.[3]
- September 30, 1979 - The first CLRV streetcar enters revenue service on the Long Branch route (By now called the 507 Long Branch).[4]

- March 26, 1995 - The 507 Long Branch is merged into the 501 Queen route, making 1 continuous route from Long Branch Loop in the west, to Neville Park Loop in the east, thus ending service on the 507 Long Branch route.[6]
- January 3, 2016 - The 501 Queen route is split back into 2 sections, with service between Long Branch and Humber Loops being operated separately, similar to the original 507 Long Branch routing.[7] This service change was made due to the 10-minute network plan, improving reliability of the 501 Queen.[8]
