History

• January 7, 2001 - Route is renumbered and renamed from 4 Annette to better reflect the area this route serves and to prevent duplication with the upcoming Line 4 Sheppard.

• November 21, 2004 - Route made accessible.

• November 23, 2008 - Moved to newly-opened Mount Dennis Division, route made bike-rack equipped, and late evening service added.

• May 8, 2011 - Moved to Queensway Division. Also, service removed after 10pm due to system-wide cuts.

• February 15, 2015 - Moved to Mount Dennis Division.

• September 6, 2015 - Service after 10pm everyday has been restored.

• March 28, 2021 - This route was transferred to Queensway upon the opening of the brand new McNicoll Division.

• February 12, 2023 - Route interlined with 55 Warren Park all day on weekdays.

• July 15, 2024 to February 16, 2025 - Due to bus terminal construction at Jane Station, the route is temporarily extended to Runnymede Station via Bloor Street West. The interline with 55 Warren Park is discontinued.
