Route Details
This route mainly provides service on Driftwood Avenue. It also provides service on Arleta Avenue and Grandravine Drive east of Driftwood Avenue and Sheppard Avenue West between Allen Road and Arleta Avenue. Its southern terminal is Sheppard West Station and the northern terminal is Pioneer Village Station for both branches, 108A and 108B.
History
- August 31, 2008 - Buses on this route are made bike rack equipped.
- June 22, 2014 - Due to a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, branch 108 to Jane & Driftwood is redesignated 108B and early morning branch 108B to Wilson Station is redesignated 108C.
- May 10, 2015 - Service after 10pm on Sundays is added for branch 108A so that both branches will operate whenever the subway is open.
- December 17, 2017 - With the opening of the new Line 1 extension, the route is extended to connect with Pioneer Village Station and the route is renamed from 108 Downsview.
