Route Details

This route services Queen Street between Neville Park Boulevard and Roncesvalles Avenue. It also provides service on The Queensway between Roncesvalles Avenue and Humber Loop and Lake Shore Boulevard West between Humber Loop and Long Branch loop. Eastern terminals include Neville Park, Parliament Street, and Humber Loop. Western terminals include Humber Loop and Long Branch loop.

The Long Branch - Parliament branch only operates 3 eastbound trips during the morning rush hour and the Long Branch - Neville Park branch only operates during the late evening periods every day.

History

  • October 19, 2009 to November 21, 2009[1] - Route was split in two in hopes of improving route reliability. The eastern portion ran from Neville Park to Shaw, and the western portion from Long Branch to Parliament. The two sections overlapped for four kilometers between Shaw and Parliament. However the experiment proved a failure, and the route was reverted back to its original form.
  • February 1, 2016 - Route is split in two at Humber Loop in order to provide a more reliable service west of Humber Loop and to reduce the amount of short turns.
