Mississauga Transit 1401-1407 are New Flyer XD40 buses built and delivered in 2014.
These buses are an extension of the 2013 contract, and as such have the same specifications. 6 buses were originally scheduled to be purchased as expansion units for the opening of the Mississauga Transitway, however a seventh bus was added to replace 0305, which suffered a major fire. The total order price was $3,497,970, with an average unit cost of $499,475. The difference from the 2013 order is the forced air duct heating system that was selected instead of the heaters which was selected as the heating system.
