Mississauga Transit 1401-1407 are New Flyer XD40 buses built and delivered in 2014.
These buses are an extension of the 2013 contract for the 14 XD40s that were delivered in 2013. They have the same specifications as the 2013 order. The order in total cost $3,497,970 making each unit cost $499,475. Originally 6 buses were purchased as expansion units however 7 buses were purchased to replace 0305 which was retired from a fire. In 2014 0303 and 0305 were retired due to an engine fire and 0152 and 0154 remained in service temporarily to replace them until October 2014 when this order started arriving. 0303 still does not have a permanent replacement yet. All units are in the MiExpress livery.
