Route Details
This route services Bay Street, as well as small parts of Davenport Road, Yonge Street, Queens Quay East, and Lake Shore Boulevard East. This route connects with the subway at Bay Station. Northern terminals include Dupont Street for branch 6, and Bloor Street (Davenport Road/Yonge Street) for branches 6A and 6B. Southern terminals include Queens Quay East & Jarvis Street for branch 6, Queens Quay and Yonge Street for branch 6A, and Dundas Street West for branch 6B.
History
- November 23, 2008 - Service increased to 24 minutes everyday. Route service extended to 1:00 AM.
- November 23, 2008 - Moved to newly-opened Mount Dennis Division.
- March 27, 2011 - 6A short-turn branch to Queens Quay & Yonge during PM rush is replaced with 6B to Dundas branch due to construction at Union Station.
- May 9, 2011 - Service removed due to system-wide cuts after 10pm on Sundays and Holidays.

Branch 6, from Dupont Street, operates south on Bedford Road, east on Davenport Road, south on Bay Street and east on Queens Quay East. It loops clockwise via Freeland Street, Lake Shore Boulevard East and Jarvis Street. This branch operates all day on weekdays except during late evenings. On weekends, it operates from early morning to just before 8:00pm.
Branch 6B, from Yorkville Avenue, operates south on Bay Street. It loops clockwise via Edward Street, Elizabeth Street and Elm Street. This branch normally operates during AM rush on weekdays only, but is currently operating both peak periods due to construction at Union Station.
