Calgary Transit route 91 Foothills Medical Centre is a route designed to service Foothills Medical Centre from Lions Park LRT Station
History
1989 - Route introduced as "91 Foothills Hospital", supplementing Route 40 by providing a connection between Lions Park LRT Station and Foothills Medical Centre. Trips would start at Lions Park LRT Station, and would travel west on 14 Avenue NW, north on 19 Street NW, west on 16 Avenue NW and south on 29 Street NW to Foothills Medical Centre. Trips would then loop around Foothills Medical Centre, and would continue north on 29 Street NW, east on 16 Avenue NW, south on 14 Street NW and west on 14 Avenue NW to Lions Park LRT Station.
September 4, 2006 - Route extended to serve the Alberta Childrens Hospital and Brentwood LRT Station, and renamed to "91 Lions Park/Brentwood". From Foothills Medical Centre, trips to Brentwood Station would travel north on 29 Street NW, west on 16 Avenue NW, northwest on West Campus Blvd NW, northeast on 24 Avenue NW, northwest on West Campus Drive NW (also serving the Alberta Childens Hospital terminal on Childrens Drive NW), east on West Campus Way NW, north on 39 Street NW, east on 32 Avenue NW and north on 31 Street NW to Brentwood LRT Station. Trips to Lions Park LRT Station would do the reverse towards Foothills Medical Centre, however, it would not serve the Alberta Childrens Hospital terminal.
November 19, 2018 - Service in between Foothills Medical Centre, Alberta Children's Hospital and Brentwood Station was discontinued, now being served by Route 8 Foothills Medical Centre / North Pointe. The route would be renamed to "91 Foothills Medical Centre", and would return to the routing prior to September 4, 2006
