History
- Route 117 is an express bus service introduced on August 30, 1999, servicing the community of McKenzie Towne to downtown Calgary.
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Route 117 was temporarily cancelled on May 25, 2020 and was reinstated on August 31, 2020 at a reduced frequency.
Frequency (as of August 31, 2020)
Route 117 is served by 40-foot buses during the AM and PM rush hour ONLY. The garage deployment can depend on the signup, however usually it is out of Victoria Park or Anderson Garages (Anderson Garage is currently closed as of May 2020). Three trips are provided for AM rush hour leaving McKenzie Towne Link, and three trips are provided for PM rush hour leaving Downtown Calgary.
- AM Peak: 3 trips (starting at 5:55, 6:20 and 6:45)
- PM Peak: 3 trips (starting at 16:05, 16:45, 17:15)
