Calgary Transit route 194 Chaparral Valley / Wolf Willow is a an feeder bus route designed to serve the southeast communities of Walden, Chaparral Valley and Wolf Willow, connecting passengers to Somerset-Bridlewood LRT station. This route was introduced to replace Route 444 in the Winter 2022 signup, with the new renumbered route came mid-day service which was previously non-existent with it's predecessor.
Routing History
December 19, 2022 - To Chaparral Valley, trips departed Somerset-Bridlewood Station, and would travel south on Macleod Trail S, east on 194 Avenue SE, south on Walden Gate SE, east on Walden Drive SE, northeast on Walden Blvd SE, east on 194 Avenue SE, north on Chaparral Valley Drive SE and completing a clockwise loop around Chaparral Valley Square SE. To Somerset-Bridlewood Station.
Wolf Willow, trips would travel south on Chaparral Valley Drive SE, east on 194 Avenue SE, south on Wolf Willow Blvd SE, west on Wolf Creek Avenue SE, north on Wolf Creek Drive SE, west on 194 Avenue SE, southwest on Walden Blvd SE, west on Walden Drive SE, north on Walden Gate SE, west on 194 Avenue SE and north on Macleod Trail S to Somerset-Bridlewood Station.
December 23, 2024 - Routing has been revised to service Wolf Willow before Chaparral Valley then continue to Somerset-Bridlewood.
Service History
December 19, 2022 - Route operated during peak hours with conventional buses at a 25 minute frequency, and during weekday midday with community shuttle buses at a 50 minute frequency.
