Calgary Transit 7818-7858

Calgary Transit 7818-7858 are New Flyer D40LF buses built in 2003.

These buses are equipped with a Thermo King rear mounted heater, but are the first for Calgary Transit to have a flat back instead of a ribbed back. In early 2009, as with 7701-7782 and 7783-7817, the Cummins ISC engines of the buses of this series began receiving a rebuild as they were wearing out early. The engines would be overhauled to ISL specifications which included increasing the bore. All units were refurbished between 2016 and 2017 and repainted into the red wave livery with bike racks.

• 7857 was retired and scrapped after being fire damaged. Scrapped July 2012.
