Calgary Transit 2301-2338 are Siemens SD160 light rail cars built in 2010-2012. They are known as Series 8 LRVs.

History

These cars feature interior and exterior security cameras, interior and exterior LED signage, air conditioning, LED lighting, and perimeter hard shell seating. Cars 2301-2317 entered revenue service in the full red livery, while cars 2318-2338 entered service in white with a red roofline and various Calgary Transit decals. All have since been painted into the full red livery.

The first revenue train consisting of 2301-2302-2303 entered service on December 20, 2010.
