Routing History
December 12, 1994 - Northbound (morning) trips would start eastbound on 7 Avenue at 2 Street SW, and would travel east on 7 Avenue S, south on 1 Street SE, east on 9 Avenue SE, north on Macleod Trail SE, east on 5 Avenue SE, north on 4 Street E / Edmonton Trail NE, east on 36 Avenue NE, south/east on 32 Avenue NE, north on 12 Street NE, west on 49 Avenue NE, north on 11 Street NE, west on 68 Avenue NE, south on 8 Street NE, east on 65 Avenue NE and south on 9 Street NE, terminating southbound on 9 Street at 64 Avenue NE.
Southbound (afternoon) trips would start northbound on 9 Street at 64 Avenue NE and would travel north on 9 Street NE, west on 65 Avenue NE, north on 8 Street NE, east on 68 Avenue NE, south on 11 Street NE, east on 49 Avenue NE, south on 12 Street NE, west/north on 32 Avenue NE, west on 36 Avenue NE, south on Edmonton Trail NE, west on 4 Avenue SE, south on 1 Street SE and west on 7 Avenue S, terminating westbound on 7 Avenue at 1 Street SW.
August 27, 2001 - Route revised to serve 72 Avenue NE in between 8 Street NE and 10 Street NE, and 10 Street NE in between 68 Avenue NE and 72 Avenue NE.
December 20, 2004 - Service along 72 Avenue NE discontinued. Route 69 would be extended north on 8 Street NE and north on 10 Street NE, until both streets meet up with each other.
May 25, 2020 - Route temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 service restrictions.
August 31, 2020 - Route reinstated with revised service span.
Service History
December 12, 1994 - Route operated with two AM and two PM trips. AM trips would run from downtown to Deerfoot Centre, and PM trips would run from Deerfoot Centre to downtown.
August 31, 2020' - Route revised to operate with only one trip per peak period.
