History

  • Route 116 is an express bus service introduced in late 1998, servicing the community of Coventry Hills to downtown Calgary.
  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Route 116 was temporarily cancelled on May 25, 2020 and was reinstated on August 31, 2020 at a reduced frequency.

Frequency (as of August 31, 2020)

Route 117 is mostly served by articulated buses out of Stoney Garage, with the chance of a few 40-foot Stoney Garage keys being added depending on the signup. This route operates during the AM and PM rush hour ONLY. Four trips are provided for AM rush hour leaving Coventry Hills, and four trips are provided for PM rush hour leaving Downtown Calgary.

  • AM Peak: 4 trips (starting at 6:01, 6:21, 6:41 and 7:01)
  • PM Peak: 4 trips (starting at 16:00, 16:20, 16:40, 17:10)
