Calgary Transit 7963-7980 are New Flyer Industries D40LF buses built in 2006.

They are built to Winnipeg Transit specifications: Sliding windows, seats, rear doors (touch stripe instead of touch bar), taillights and driver's area layout. Taillights are spaced closer to each other due to original sockets being specified for smaller Winnipeg spec. taillights, but large taillights installed (as per CT spec.). Geared for quicker acceleration and earlier shifting points.

They feature Thermo King rear mounted heater and a flatback rear.

As of March 20, 2020 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), these buses are temporarily parked due to the fact that their rear doors aren't able to be opened by the driver. All units were returned to service upon the reopening of Anderson Garage on September 6, 2022..
