Ed T.
As GO has two different units numbered 2549, I was picturing a bi-level off on an expedition. Not sure how the destination signs are supposed to work, though.

GO Transit removes all logos and corporate decals when they retire a bus? Because this one still had them all.

The University of Waterloo (bus only) is a bit further west than Kitchener and is the westmost point on the GO system. North: Barrie (bus & rail). The bus terminal in Downtown Barrie is the northmost point on the GO system, the trains terminate a bit further south at Allandale station. South: Niagara Falls (bus & rail). Both bus and train services terminate across the street from each other in downtown Niagara Falls. East: Peterborough (bus only). Trent University is the eastmost point in the system.

While not to scale, it should give you an idea of the extent of their network, and the outermost cities that are served.

rs3488
Checking on Transsee, it's been a year since MP54AC prototype #647 has operated. I heard it was an awful runner ever since it's rebuild, last time I saw it was it all by itself at Willowbrook in August, wonder what might happen to it now. There was also an initial prototype conversion of MP40PH 647 (the Tier 2 locomotives GO bought in 2008-2013), that was converted to Tier 4 emissions.
drum118
There is no GO service at Port Credit this weekend and the station is also close. No idea if 21c is servicing PC or going over to Clarkson where all the buses to/from Toronto will be going to/from as well Oakville. Hourly rail service west of Oakville No idea if VIA and NF trains will be using the Lakeshore threw PC or be on detour by CN Halton Sub and ML Weston Sub while the rail bridges are being remove from PC. Track speed will return to normal next week once the bridges are remove.

GO has already announced that the 21C buses will be replaced by 21S buses, serving Erindale GO, Square One, Cooksville GO, then proceeding to Kipling Terminal. This preserves the connection from these stations to "rapid transit" rather than marooning hapless riders at Port Credit without connections to anywhere else. VIA (and Amtrak) are diverting via Halton Sub this weekend. As GO has stated on their website, Niagara Falls trains are originating at Oakville. Thanks as I haven't follow GO for a well and no notice at PC for 21 as well running late in posting. I didn't expect GO would terminate 21C at Sq One nor run to PC, but would run it to Clarkson or X. Noticed tonight at Kipling Hub that a special was running from it to Erindale Station and made no connection to it that it was the 21C since I rarely use the Hub in the first place. As for NF trains, doing that free up having issues with CN, as well picking up/off riders for PC and Oakville. There was a posting early this summer on VIA site that they would be doing detours in Sept-Dec with dates and expected some would deal with things east of Oakville

Right now, the train car impacted will be out of service due to major smoke damage along the car and windows needing to be smashed out to ventilate and control the fire.
