GO Transit 2420-2439
GO Transit 2420-2439 are MCI D4500CTs acquired in May-June 2009. This series of buses was purchased for service expansion. All models are 45 feet in length with seating for 57 individuals. All D4500CTs of this series are equipped with wheelchair lifts and have two wheelchair positions through seat adjustment.
These D4500CTs were delivered with the new GO Transit livery and CCTV cameras. The front window sun shades are controlled remotely by the driver, rather than having to be manually pulled down in all other GO Transit buses. The interior of this batch of buses differs from GO's other D4500CTs as the interior trim on the ceiling and walls uses a fabric with a more plush pile and different pattern. The floor from the stairs to the top of the ramp is grooved (same as that on the 1600-1619 series), and the stairwell area is more narrow than older D4500s in the fleet. These buses also have an updated steering wheel similar in appearance to those on some of the 1600-1619 series. This series ordered and delivered with Recaro Ergo Metro driver seats.
