Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation 3901-3938 are 2019 bio-diesel Gillig BRT (G27D102N4) buses. In November 2017, SMART was able to negotiate with Gillig for the delivery of 35 fixed-route buses in 2018, 5 fixed-route buses in 2019 and 35 FAST buses in 2019. Along the line, this order was changed to 37 fixed-route buses and 3 FAST buses in 2018, 38 fixed-route buses in 2019, and 38 FAST buses in 2020. This was later changed again, with the 2020 order for 38 FAST buses dropped.

These buses are virtually identical in appearance to the 3801 series BRT order. They were purchased from a Los Angeles Department of Transportation contract and were delivered in September 2019.
