Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District, known as AC Transit provides public transportation in Alameda County and Contra Costa County in the Bay Area in California. Connections are available with San Francisco MUNI, San Mateo County Transit District, and Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.

Many units were bought by Complete Coach Works at Alameda Point and sold off. 22 units to Mears Transportation 3701-3722. Some units went to "The Free Enterprise Bus" in Chicago, IL in early 2011. Other units *might* have gone to American Coach Lines & Horizon Bus in Orlando, FL. 2943 was spotted parted out in September 2008. It was eventually scrapped.
