GO Transit 2518-2535
GO Transit 2518-2535 are 2012 MCI D4500CT coaches delivered in July 2012, and were placed into service beginning in August. They are identical to the previous order, delivered earlier in 2012. Upon these coaches entering service, coaches 2114-2122 were retired.
The coaches were delivered with 57 seats. A fleet-wide removal of the row of seats beside the wheelchair access door took place in 2013 in an effort to expedite wheelchair loading. This row of seats had to slide forward on a track to make space for the wheelchair, however in past experience the track would frequently become clogged with debris and inhibit motion. The following batch of coaches would be the first to be delivered without this row.
Beginning in 2018, the buses in this series were refurbished and repainted into the new two-tone scheme. This was done as part of a two-year refurbishment contract.
