Gilmore is a SkyTrain station in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Station Details

Located at Dawson Street and Gilmore Avenue, the station serves nearby industrial areas and offices, in addition to nearby low density residential areas. In recent years, high density residential developments have appeared within the station vicinity.

Gilmore is one of three elevated stations in the system to have its concourse located above street level. The other two are Brentwood Town Centre and Sapperton.

Busby + Associates (now Perkins+Will Canada), which also designed Brentwood Town Centre, designed Gilmore. The station design uses a combination of steel framing and stressed wood panels that create a canopy over the two platforms. The concourse level is designed to connect with future commercial and residential developments.[1][2]
