Oakridge–41st Avenue TransLink Accessible bullet-b.png is a SkyTrain station in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Station Details

Referred simply as Oakridge–41st, the station provides service to the nearby residential areas and Oakridge Centre. Oakridge–41st Avenue is located near the now closed, Oakridge Transit Centre. The station is located 6 metres underground and is south of Queen Elizabeth Park.

During planning, Oakridge–41st Avenue was called 41st Avenue[1]. This was later changed in 2006 to its current name[2].

As part of the proposed redevelopment of nearby Oakridge Centre, there are plans to expand the station to accommodate the increase of passengers at the station in the near future. Upgrades to the station include the demolition of the current stationhouse and building a wood and glass canopy that would cover the station entrance and a redone station plaza. Presently, TransLink is reviewing and negotiating the proposed changes with the developer[3].
