SkyTrain 301-348 are 48 cars or 24 sets of Bombardier ART Mark II cars built in Sahagún, Mexico and Thunder Bay, Ontario between 2009 and 2010.

Features

Interior layout of Mark II 1300/1400 series cars.

These cars were ordered in 2006 and arrived in 2009 with an increase in capacity on the system by approximately 30 percent. The first of the new cars entered service on July 3, 2009.[1] with 14 additional cars ordered for delivery by 2010.

They were delivered in the grey, blue, and yellow TransLink livery and featured new interiors with reconfigured aisle stanchions and a 2+1 seating arrangement for more aisle space. These cars, compared to the rest of the fleet, included new features such as CCTV cameras, LED maps, new seating arrangements and door-closing lights.[2]

Formation

Currently these cars run on both the Expo Line in 4 car sets and Millennium Line in 2 car sets, but often appear on the Expo Line more than the Millennium Line. However, these cars may appear on the Millennium Line during peak hours. For weekday AM shuttle service between Commercial–Broadway and Waterfront, these trains run in 2-car sets.
