Patterson is a SkyTrain station in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Station Details

Located adjacent to Central Park in Burnaby, Patterson Station provides access to nearby low and high-density residential areas at the western end of Metrotown. The station is named after Patterson Street, which honours Campbell Patterson, an early pioneer in Burnaby and British Columbia. The station site was also the site of the old Patterson Station on the BC Electric Railway Central Park Line, which the Expo Line follows and parallels in some portions between Nanaimo Station and New Westminster Station.

In 1986, Princess Diana and Prince Charles visited the station during their tour of the SkyTrain system from Waterfront to Patterson.

In 2001 from September to November, all Metrotown Station bus services terminated at Patterson due to extensive reconstruction and repaving work that had to be done at the bus loop. The number of bus bays increased to 8 at Patterson, with Bays 1–4 on Central Boulevard between Olive Avenue and Wilson Avenue and Bays 5–8 on Beresford Street between Patterson Avenue and Wilson Avenue.[1][2]
